In the spring and autumn 2011 gathering of data was organized on species composition and quantitative ratio of small mammals (mouse-like rodents) in this area. Two lines of 100 traps each in the beech and fir forest were set up at the height 1560 m above the sea level which were checked twice a day- morning and evening three days in a row. The area under study is known to be a habitat by three species of small mammals: bush vole, pigmy mouse and Caucasus mouse.
